Bishop Toal wishes to advise you of the following two Masses he will be celebrating in the next week or so.
- Mass for the Eternal Rest of Pope Francis and in Thanksgiving for his Life and Ministry
The Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Toal on Thursday May 1st, the Feast of St Joseph the Worker, at 7pm in Our Lady of Good Aid Cathedral, Motherwell. The whole Diocesan Community will be welcome to attend along with friends who wish to pray for our late Holy Father. May he rest in peace.

Bishop Toal will celebrate the above Mass at Carfin on Sunday May 4th at 3pm. You are most welcome to attend to pray for the Church as our New Pope is about to be elected.
The Bishop has invited the Rt Rev Dr Shaw Paterson, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, to attend the Memorial Mass for Pope Francis being celebrated in Motherwell Cathedral on Thursday evening. Dr Paterson has accepted this invitation and conveys to the Diocese his deepest sympathy and and ongoing prayers.
